A series of lectures on Biomedical Sciences were successfully held online by NUS & ZJU (Ⅳ)

Last year, 19 scholars from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) gathered with several scholars from ZJU-UoE Institute, and School of Basic Medical Sciences, ZJU, in Zijingang Campus, ZJU. They gave a series of talks on Biomedical Sciences. Due to global pandemic, face to face communicate cannot work this year, however online talks bring them back from 22 to 23, September, 2020.Speakers shared the latest scientific research achievements in the fields of Infection and Immunity Research. Nearly 300 of teachers and students attended the online lectures.

Prof. WANG Qingqing, Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences, ZJU, and Prof. Kevin TAN, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, NUS gave the welcome speech.

The two-day series of lectures included 3 keynote speeches and 18 academic talks. The speakers deeply discussed the frontier scientific issues in the fields of Infection and Immunity Research in the Post-COVID-19 Era. A/Prof Paul MACARY, Director of Life Sciences Institute & Chairman of CREATE-HUJ Consortium, NUS, Prof WANG Di, Vice Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences, Executive Director of Research Center of Infectious & Immunity, ZJU, and Prof Nicholas GASCOIGNE, Department of Microbiology & Immunology, NUS, gave the keynote speeches.
